About Us

Hello, my name is Holly. I grew up in the small country town of Junction City, Oregon. I have lived in the Eugene area my whole life, my family lives here, and I love the people and natural beauty it offers. I graduated from OSU with my bachelors of science in chemical engineering in 2015; I wanted to be a part of the world in a big way, though at the time, I did not know entirely how. I worked in the industry for years until the pandemic hit in 2021, and I lost my mom. I had to change gears significantly, feeling hollowed out and lost. I understood many underlying issues in our society, including the mental health crisis. I took out my life savings and started Myco Synergy in January 2023, the beginning of the legalization of psilocybin as a medicine. I knew I could help this rising industry thrive, helping people connect with certified facilitators to overcome all sorts of barriers using alternative methods that have never been available. I knew that. Finally, I could be a part of real change that mattered and feel good about what I do every day. 

Currently, I am the sole business owner & mycologist for Myco Synergy.
